Pearlgate & Volunteerism

Volunteerism is the cornerstone of our sport. There is a strong expectation that friends and family help build our community by working together to support the athletes' development.

Anyone part of the Pearlgate Community can register to volunteer or officiate on behalf of members and help them waive their Club Travel Fees ($150). 

Pearlgate strongly encourages all volunteers to register with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) with the Coaching Association of Canada and complete "Safe Sport - Direct Athlete Contact" and "Understanding the Rules of Two" training. Additionally, all Pearlgate volunteers are strongly encouraged to complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check. 

Contact Pearlgate for a volunteer letter to waive the Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check fee. Please forward your Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check application receipt to Pearlgate once you've submitted your application.

Pearlgate will pay for any Volunteer's Associate's NLAA Membership.
